SECULAR BANGABANDHU, COMMUNAL BREAKER OF UNDIVIDED INDIA, FOUNDER OF BANGLADESH, THAT TOO WITH INDIAN MILITARY HELP, THAT INDIA WHICH HE HAD ONCE HELPED PARTITION TO LEAD HER TO A MILLION DEATHS AND A MUTILATED, THREATENED EXISTENCE EVER SINCE

Shaikh Mujibur Rahman was in the 1940s pronouncedly communal in consciousness and was in part responsible for the Partition of India. He was the associate and close confidante of Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy who engineered the Great Calcutta Killing and the subsequent Noakhali Riots of 1946 where Hindus 🕉 by the thousands were butchered by frenzied Muslims, Hindu women folk raped and Hindus in general mass-converted to Islam as a condition for their lives being spared in observance of the Quranic commandment, with the All India Muslim League, the principal governing party to which Mujib belonged, remaining direct instigators, executors and silent spectators in phases of the Hindu 🕉 genocide.

Mujib was anxious to see that Pakistan should be born out of the dismemberment of India in her flanks. Such was the historic past career of the so-called secular founder of Bangladesh. Yes, he may have had a change of heart ❤ in his later years owing to extreme experience of West Pakistani high-handedness and tyranny on East Pakistani Bengalis which, coupled with his growing maturity as a person and exposure to leftist literature and interaction, may to a large extent or even totally have eroded his erstwhile faith in the efficacy of communal politics as an instrument of statecraft but, tell me, did he ever once openly apologize to the Hindus 🕉 and to truncated India 🇮🇳 for his perverse participation in India's gory Partition? If there was a change of heart indeed, why did he not in all fairness say 'sorry' to India even after all the help he had received from her in the War of Liberation? 

The stigma of communal consciousness and the dastardly deeds of 16 August, 1946 and the subsequent two and a half month long ethnic cleansing of Hindus 🕉 in Noakhali will forever dog the redeemed Bangabandhu of Bangladesh. History has recorded those dastardly deeds in letters of Hindu 🕉 blood that will never allow Mujib to go scot-free eventhough he fathered a nation thereafter along linguistic, cultural, secular lines. Today's Bangladesh is his creation but yesterday's Pakistan was his part-creation as well. His portrait will ever be drawn in lines of light and shade and his contribution to Mother India's downfall ever talked about, howsoever many pious veils be put over his past misdeeds to help glorify his life and paint his persona before Bangladeshis as a la Saviour sans vices.

Long live Mujib in sincere memory, fractured and imperfect, an evolving soul full of terrible contradictions, the betrayer of India's freedom and the father of that of Bangladesh ! Long live Bangladesh as friendly neighbour till the subcontinent unites again to heal whole wounds and neighbours become once more a single people belonging to an ancient spiritual heritage that they now so vehemently reject !
