HEAL THE HURT 

When a person is in deep distress, you do not scold him or ignore him or simply cast him away as so much trash. Humanity demands deeper empathy, acceptance and love that heals and restores health. Each person is divine and needs to be included in the scheme of things, not schemed out of reckoning or simply sold for a few copper coins that are valued more than flesh and blood. Life is a slit unto the vast background reality that is divine. Humanity is but the intermediate state, an opening unto the trinity of existence-consciousness-bliss. Must you fail to appreciate each life that is a beam of the infinite optical spectra rambling through countless pathways in countless universes, up, down and sideways? Do not neglect any. Each one is the Most High coming in myriad shapes through mystifying Māyā. Recognise the Real in the phenomenal, your own in distant deflected beings. The blood of immortality flows in all waiting to be spilled unto union with the Ākāsh Gangā. The stars blaze but appear to twinkle, such is the poetry of life, such the movie screened in the firmament of fertile dreams of fullest fruition in the fullness of time. Therefore, neglect none, be kind to all and loving in varying degrees to all who injure not life's possibilities in people. Read poetry in prose, melody in dry score and love in the lily that fades not with time. Bliss it is to be born, bliss to live and bliss to merge in the Mother who never forsakes. I come, Mother, I come.

LESSONS OF LIGHT

1. Be simple. Do not complicate thoughts. Be straightforward. Do not go about meandering in life. The avenue is broad. The path is straight. Freedom is at hand. It is within you. It is your very being, your very existence, your deepest sense of 'I'. Affirm it. Do not wind about. Hit the mark right away.

2. The dog's curly tail remains curly however one may straighten it. Such is its elasticity. Likewise for society. Its conservatism, inertia, resistance to reformation is so intrinsic to it that almost all attempts to alter status fail till the right time comes when its organic capacity to evolve further has through experience been attained. Then society surges forward to the next phase of its life. Where it fails, it simply dies. Where it adapts and evolves, it lives. 

Mass movement is ever complex and full of conflicting forces resolving out motion. Hence, evolution often is better than revolution attempted out of raw impulse. Even revolution is a part of evolution, its climactic rapid change of order in the fullness of time, and revolution has its own dynamic, its laws, conditional constraints, circumstantial requirements and, most importantly, proper preparedness of the people who will revolve, for human behaviour is not deterministic that it can be delineated in terms of infallible laws resonating to time and space. There is a quantum behaviour of the mind akin to subatomic particles which is unpredictable and does not guarantee revolutionary results despite all other conditions being conducive to bringing it about.

     এখন প্রশ্ন হ'ল অনৈতিক ধর্মব্যবসা, লোক ঠকানো, অসাধুর সাধু সেজে জনমানসে কুসংস্কার ছড়ানো, রাজনৈতিক দলের মদতপুষ্ট হয়ে অ্যাজেণ্ডা মাফিক প্রচারকর্ম চালানো, তাও অশাস্ত্রীয় মতে, এ সব তাঁদেরই আখ্যা দেওয়া বিশুদ্ধ সাত্ত্বিক নিরামিষাহার নাকি 'পাখণ্ডির' অশুদ্ধ তামসিক আমিষাহার ? বিষয়টি বিচার্য | অসাধু-রাজনেতা যোগ কিন্তু ভগবৎযোগ নয়, এটি স্মর্তব্য |

8. যে ধর্ম হিন্দুকে অত্যাচার করে, সে ধর্ম কালে থাকবে না, নিশ্চিহ্ন হবে |

      ও সব জি.ডি.পি.র পাল্লায় পোড়ো না | মানুষই শ্রেষ্ঠ জীব, মনুষ্যত্ব শ্রেষ্ঠ সম্পদ, শ্রেষ্ঠ সম্বল | ভগবানলাভ, আত্মজ্ঞানলাভ জীবনের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ উদ্দেশ্য, লক্ষ্য, বিবর্তনের চূড়ান্ত পরিণতি | এই আত্মজ্ঞানকে লক্ষ্য করে এগিয়ে যায়ও জ্ঞানের, কর্মের বিবিধ, বিচিত্র ধারায় আপন যৌবনের শ্রেষ্ঠ শক্তি সংরক্ষণ করে, তার প্রয়োগ করে |

MAKE ROOM FOR FREE FLOW UNTO THE INFINITE SEA OF RADIANCE

Let us open up avenues to seeking Truth. The vast field encompasses myriad routes to the Absolute which is not so absolute in rigid bounds as the ignorant would make It out to be but is in freedom fluid, frozen though in immobile Self-consciousness It is. A peculiar paradox of freedom in freeze, reflexive Self-consciousness, dimensionless boundlessness, an indescribable state with no creed to count as Its proselytising progeny. Unity in unity and diversity in diversity characterise Reality in Its Absolute state and reality in its relativistic states. The twain never can meet. Whither religion, regulated and regulating, expecting flock to follow or slaves to abide by and convert or exile or kill infidels by way of Divine mandate? Truth is not that. It is conceivably and inconceivably grand where the follies and foibles of earthly offspring in religious observance and political pursuit thereof seem like nursery rhymes before the epic-scale composition of genius. Thus must we not force any into submission to Man or to God but must facilitate the free flow of the soul or the mind toward wherever sincere aspiration leads---Truth, truths or the Void. "Let men be thinkers," Swamiji said. So, let avenues of thought be laid open for the grand army of humanity to march through the dark of this cosmic night unto hopefully the sunlit summit of Truth-Goodness-Beauty.

তাঁর দয়ার অন্ত নেই | ভগবান মানুষরূপ ধারণ করে ছদ্মবেশে এই বাংলায় এলেন আর বাঙালী তাঁকে ফেলে অজ্ঞেয়বাদ আর নাস্তিকতাকে গ্রহণ করল এত সংখ্যায় ? মার্ক্সবাদ বুঝল আর বেদান্ত বুঝল না ? তবু তিনি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেন নি | আজও তাই দক্ষিণেশ্বরের কুঠিবাড়ির ছাদ হতে ধ্বনি ওঠে, "ওরে, তোরা কে কোথায় আছিস, আয়, আমি যে আর থাকতে পারি না !" বৈকুন্ঠে আজও তার প্রতিধ্বনি ওঠে, ওঠে না ওই দিগভ্রান্ত বধির বাঙালীর বুকে | সে লেনিন, মাও, মার্ক্সে মশগুল | আজও তাই বিবেকানন্দ পরিত্যক্ত, বেদান্ত বর্জিত, নাস্তিকতার ঢাল করেছে বাকপটু বাঙালী বিদ্যাসাগরের ন্যায় মহাপুরুষকে বারংবার শিখণ্ডী করে, মাত্র তিনি অজ্ঞেয়বাদী ছিলেন বলে, ঔপনিষদিক রবীন্দ্রনাথকে পদে পদে ব্যবহার করে বাঙালী ইন্দ্রিয়পরায়ণতার সপক্ষে বাণীসন্ধানে কারণ কবি "বৈরাগ্যসাধনে মুক্তি, সে আমার নয়" লিখেছেন 'আত্মপরিচয়' গ্রন্থে | মুখে মার্ক্স, বাণী বিপ্লব, কন্ঠে কামনা, ব্যবহারে বাসনা, ইন্দ্রিয় অসংযত, চিত্তে চঞ্চলতা, হতাদর্শ, বাকসর্বস্য বৃহদ্বাঙালী আজ কাপুরুষতার কলেবরপ্রাপ্ত কলরবকাতর জনগোষ্ঠী | তারা যুগাবতারকে কি করে চিনবে ? তাদের দৌড় ওই ভিনদেশীয় আদর্শের অনুকরণ পর্যন্ত, ওই মুখেন মারিতং জগত, ওই বিপ্লববুলি, ঋত্বিক, মৃণাল, সত্যজিৎ, বিদ্যাসাগর, রবীন্দ্রনাথ ও অধুনা রামের বিরোধীতায় রামমোহনের বাণিজ্যব্যবহার, বিজেপি তথা রাষ্ট্রীয় স্বয়ংসেবক সঙ্ঘকে পরাভূত করার অভিপ্রায়ে সীতার অগ্নিপরিক্ষাকে রামের চূড়ান্ত বিফলতা প্রমাণের দুষ্টপ্রচেষ্টায় রামমোহনের সতীদাহপ্রথা নিবারণে ভূমিকার প্রায়শঃ উল্লেখ---এই হল বৃহদ্বাঙালীর ব্যবহারিক বিকৃতির বিশদ বিবরণ | এই আদর্শভ্রষ্ট দুষ্ট বুদ্ধিজীবির দল চিনবে সনাতন পুরুষ শ্রীভগবানকে ? এরা লিঙ্গ-গুহ্য-নাভির ত্রিকেন্দ্রে আবদ্ধ, সনাতন শাস্ত্র মানে মাত্র গোমাংস ভোক্ষণের সপক্ষে যুক্তি আনয়নে, ইসলামের মার খায় সেকিউলারিজ়মের দোহাই দিয়ে, প্রতিক্রিয়াশীলতাকে প্রগতিশীলতার মোহর দিয়ে আত্মপ্রসাদ বোধ করে, স্বাদেশিকতা ছেড়ে প্রাদেশিকতাকে প্রাধাণ্য দেয়---এরা বুঝবে অনন্তের অধিপতি রামকৃষ্ণ-বিবেকানন্দকে ?

He died at 9.10 p.m. on 4 July, 1902 and was cremated at the Belur Math precincts the very next day, 5 July, 1902 at 1.00 p.m. So, Mahārāj (Jagadguru Mahāmandaleshvar Swāmi Paramātmānanda) is providing wrong information in stating that Swamiji could not be cremated for two days after his death owing to lack of personnel who could discharge the cremation duty, meaning thereby that none were ready to cremate a kayastha sannyasi as monasticism was deemed exclusive to brāhmans.

Swamiji was convinced about what he was saying as it was based upon spiritual realisation, deep intellectual reflection, vast erudition and an overwhelming sense of purpose born out of an abiding love for humanity that knew no bounds nor limited itself within geographical boundaries or cultural contours. Finally, he had received divine commission from his spiritual master to preach the word of God at home and abroad. Sri Ramakrishna had in his dying days at the Cossipore Garden House written on a scrap of paper, "নরেন লোকশিক্ষা দিবে যখন ঘরে বাইরে হাঁক দিবে |" ["Naren will teach the world when he will thunder at home and abroad."] Thus Vivekananda 'spoke with authority and not as the scribes do', and was victorious everywhere. His words were scripture and spiritually transformed his audience. If modern preachers are not so, it is because they possess none of the qualities which adorned the Swami. 

Realisation, reflection, reading, resistance to material temptation, universal sympathy, courage of conviction, freedom of the soul, uncompromising nature that does not stoop to seek worldly support, strength of character that is self-sustaining, abundance of talent, idealism, a vast mind, oratorical power as if 'by divine right'---all these and much more distinguished the Swami not only from his peers in the world then but also from fellow preachers after him. Most are compromised in life with material gain and are apologetic about what they say about the Dharma in relation to its suffering at the hands of alien invasive powers and their aggressive Abrahamic faiths. No wonder they fail to impress for long a discerning audience. And thus the Vedantic missionary work suffers. We need valorous souls with fiery force to come to the fore and preach the Dharma the masculine way across the length and breadth of the world. 🕉 Hindu!

Mythology must not replace science. There is no proof that there is a God who has created the universe, governs it and eventually destroys it. These things happen as per natural law and not as per the will of any God. Spiritual consciousness is quite apart from such puerile conceptions of the Divine which in its absolute transcendental state is the non-dual Brahman/Atman. That entity you may call God or whatever you like. The Vedas call It 'Tat', pronounced 'Tut'. But to imprint on the minds of the masses mythological tales of creation conducted by God or gods, as preachers regularly do, breeds superstition in them and retards their intellectual growth which is unwholesome and unwelcome at that if India wishes to be a developed state by 2047. A superstitious polity cannot survive the challenges of a fast modernising world nor may be deemed developed. The workings of Nature, as understood by the sensory human mind, must be taught the scientific way and not in manner mythological. Beyond that philosophical speculations are welcome but not puerile storytelling by way of teaching science.

Hinduism must become aggressively missionary. Otherwise Hindus will decrease percentage-wise. No wonder Swamiji wanted this but was denied fulfilment by altered activity of his followers, of course by following other welfare lines laid down by him, for his was a universal being and he understood the limitations of lesser endowed men as also the compulsions of organisational existence in complex political scenario. But the fiery spirit that characterised Swamiji and was his life's work to try and infuse in his countrymen, more so in his followers, has been sadly diminishing over the decades till it has now been reduced to cipher, nay, even plummeting to the negative sometimes as compromise and commerce which characterise our capitalist society these days infilitrate the rank and file of his followers. 

Hindus keep getting victimised physically and through conversion to Christianity and Islam while Vivekananda's titular followers keep mutely watching. There is no organised effort to scale up missionary activity to propagate Hinduism across the world but there is every attempt to promote pseudoharmony of faiths which are simply irreconcilable on foundational grounds. The inability to call a spade a spade has mummified the mission of the Master. Therefore, we as individuals and as groups need to activate our own mental, intellectual and spiritual resources to discover in Vivekananda the message of self-mastery and missionary activity to serve our civilisation better. No need to wait on those who have compromised. Let us awake to our own responsibilities and fight on. So, onward!

After 34 years of Marxist misrule and 15 more years of Trinamool mayhem and loot, the BJP has set itself to settling things in unsettled Bengal. But the way things are going with Ministers, led by the chief in office, off-limits in decibel doing and pouring puerile posts to please the polity, paying homage to past greats through standardised one-lined obituary on their birth and death days, and talking too much, so to say, on prospective projects, that too as if it is a shouting match, it seems unlikely that Bengal is as much on the rise as projected, nay, artlessly advertised by whosoever chances upon the media microphone. This is Islamic rule which Indian Hindus, especially Bengali superficial, secular Hindus, need to note. 

The curse of Brahmahatyā will fall on Bangladesh if a spiritual personage like Chinmoy Prabhu comes to harm. Karma will take its toll on Bangladesh which was originally formed as East Pakistan in the wake of the Muslim League-engineered 'The Great Calcutta Killing' of August, 1946 and the East Bengal genocide of Hindus with focus in Noākhāli. 

Thereafter, Hindus have been systematically killed, looted, evicted from home, from country, their women raped, their idols broken, temples destroyed, houses burnt, they force-converted to Islam and generally made to suffer all sorts of indignities and to live in a permanent state of fear. 

The latest series of events targeting Hindus, of which Chinmoy Krishna Das' case has drawn international attention but failed to secure his release from prison under fabricated charges of sedition, is the continuation of a thirteen hundred year plus kuffar-killing tradition that has been rife in the subcontinent. Whether the Hindu monk survives this ordeal remains to be seen. But this is exactly what has been happening in the subcontinent ever since the fall of Sindh to Islam in 712 CE. Jihad against the mushrikeen has been raging ever since the first Arab inroads into the subcontinent and Chinmoy Prabhu is its latest high-profile victim, what to speak of ordinary, defenceless, helpless Hindus. 🕉 Hindu!

46. If life be of two days, let both be spent in the pursuit of God, though not in the Abrahamic sense.

47. Christian missionaries and Muslim mullahs, convert yourselves to the path of God. Once you have found God, you will not feel inclined anymore to converting others to your creed. 

Conversion runs counter to one's nature and is counterproductive. Hence, refrain from the sin of converting others to your dogmatic faith. That way you will find God. If you convert others, you will miss Him. Darkness of soul converts and in indulging in it, dark shall you remain.

Do not make a mockery of the thunderous words of Swamiji by writing 'Jai Swamiji!' or by posting infertile emojis when the leonine soul expects you to read his message and react in accordance by building your lives and spreading the word around. Such indolent reactions and comments are an insult to the great sage who can do without your sterile responses. Thank you.

94. সনাতন ধর্ম আজ আবার বেদান্ত ছেড়ে অতিশয় পৌত্তলিক হতে চলেছে | বিশুদ্ধ বিগ্রহপূজা এক আর নানান নব নব মূর্তিকে কেন্দ্র করে কদর্য ধর্মব্যবসা আর এক | দেশে বিজ্ঞানশিক্ষা আর বিশুদ্ধ বেদান্তশিক্ষা আবশ্যক | তবে এই গজিয়ে ওঠা নিত্যনতুন কুসংস্কার দূর হবে | আপাতত অগণিত দেশবাসীকে রাজনৈতিক মদতপুষ্ট এই ধর্মব্যবসায়ীরা চমৎকার ঠকাচ্ছে | সরল মানুষ এদের বিশ্বাস করে সর্বস্ব খোয়াচ্ছে কত জায়গায় তার ইয়ত্তা নেই | রামমোহন, বিবেকানন্দের প্রচার হোক পুনরায় | দেশবাসী শিক্ষিত হোক | বদগুরুদের মুখোশ খুলে দিক | তবে সনাতনী বাঁচবে, সনাতন ধর্ম বিশ্বব্যাপী ঠিক ঠিক প্রসার পাবে |

95. ভণ্ড ভণ্ডই | সে মুসলমানদের ঘর ওয়াপসি করতেই বলুক আর ভারতবর্ষকে হিন্দু রাষ্ট্র ঘোষণা করতেই বলুক | দুষ্টের দ্বারা ভাল কাজ হয় না | সাধুতা চাই, অসাধুতা নয়; ধর্ম চাই, ধর্মব্যবসা নয় | হিন্দুর সংরক্ষণ যদি অসাধুই করবে তো শ্রীকৃষ্ণের গীতোক্ত অবতরণবিষয়ক ভবিষ্যদ্বাণীর কি হবে ? এবার থেকে কি অসাধু উপায়ে ধর্মসংস্থাপন হবে ?

96. প্রাদেশিক সংস্কৃতিকে আহত করে অখণ্ডের পূজা হয় না | রুচীনাং বৈচিত্র্যাদ্ | বাহ্য বিভিন্নতাকে সানন্দে মেনে নিয়েই গন্তব্যে পৌঁছোনোর বিধান |

97. ভণ্ড থেকে দূরে থাকুন | এঁদের চিনবেন কি করে ? খুব ভীড় হয় এঁদের জনসভায় আর রাজনৈতিক শীর্ষস্থানীয় নেতানেত্রীদের আনাগোনা হয় | এঁরা অতি উচ্চমানের অভিনেতা-অভিনেত্রী, সব পাকা খেলুড়ে | দারুণ কথা বলেন | কেউ কেউ আবার মহা বুদ্ধিমান, ধূর্ত | এঁরা সবাই অর্থলোলুপ, আত্মবিজ্ঞাপনের নানা উপায় অবলম্বন করেন | রাজনৈতিক যোগবিশিষ্ট, ঈশ্বরবিযুক্ত প্রতারক ধর্মব্যবসায়ীর দল | এঁদের বাড়তে দেবেন না এঁদের প্রতি ভক্তিপূর্ণ আচরণ করে | এঁরা সব সনাতন ধর্মের নামে বাণিজ্যে রত | ভগবানের সাথে এঁদের বাণিজ্য ব্যতীত কোনো সম্বন্ধ নেই | অবতার পুরুষদের পূজা করুন | এসব নিত্যনতুন রাজনৈতিক মদতপুষ্ট গজিয়ে ওঠা বাবাজীদের থেকে তফাৎ থাকুন | নিজের প্রতি আস্থাশীল হোন | কোনো বদগুরু অথবা বাবাজীর বহু ব্যয়সাপেক্ষ সান্নিধ্য তথা তথাকথিত অধ্যাত্ম সহায়তার প্রয়োজন নেই, এটি ধ্রুব জ্ঞান করে আনন্দে বিহার করুন |

98. বাঙালীদের মধ্যে বহু সংখ্যক মানুষ হয়ত মার্ক্সবাদী নাস্তিক কিন্তু আজও বাঙালী হিন্দু আধ্যাত্মিক বোধ, চেতনায় ও বাহ্যসংস্কারমুক্তিতে দেশের বহু প্রদেশের থেকে এগিয়ে | বঙ্গবহির্ভূত ওই সব প্রদেশ এখনও খাদ্যাখাদ্যের বিচার, আমিষ-নিরামিষের দ্বন্দ্বে আবদ্ধ, আজও রামকৃষ্ণ-বিবেকানন্দকে চেনেন নি | তাঁদের মাত্র সন্ত বলে বোধ ওসব প্রদেশের সাধু মহাত্মাদের, অবতার বলে বোধ নেই | ওঁরা প্রগতিশীল নন, পৌরানিক যুগের মধ্যযুগীয় রামকথা বিবরণে বদ্ধ, মূল সংস্কৃত গ্রন্থে তেমন নয় | বেদান্ত থেকে বহু দূর, ওঁরা বিজ্ঞান থেকেও সমভাবে দূর ধর্মচেতনায় | তাই বাহ্য উপকরণ, রীতিনীতি, অসহিষ্ণু নিরামিষ নিষ্ঠা ও পৌরানিক উপাখ্যানের বাহ্যব্যবহার থেকে বেরোতে পারেন নি, বরং ধর্মকে বাণিজ্যের উপকরণ ও রাজনীতির হাতিয়ারে পরিণত করে জনতাকে ঠকানোয় ব্যাপৃত আছেন ওঁদের অনেক বড় বড় বিজ্ঞাপনী বাবাজীরা, বদগুরুরা | বাঙালী হিন্দু কিন্তু বাংলার নবজাগরণের সুফলপ্রাপ্ত, তাই প্রগতিশীল, অনেকাংশে কুসংস্কারমুক্ত ও রামকৃষ্ণ-বিবেকানন্দের প্রসাদে আধ্যাত্মিক চেতনায় সুসংস্কৃত | বাংলা তাই আজও সনাতন ধর্মবিষয়ক ব্যাপারে অনেকটাই অগ্রণী যদিও সেখানে বামপন্থী নাস্তিকতা ও সনাতন সংস্কৃতির বিরোধীতাও এক অর্থে প্রবল |
