THE RESURRECTION OF THE SANĀTAN DHARMA AND THE SANĀTANIS ... 2

THE RESURRECTION OF THE SANĀTAN DHARMA AND THE SANĀTANIS ... 2

How much more of negative politics can the Chief Minister of West Bengal do? Is there no end to her accusations levelled against the executive institutions that are not in her direct control? Is this the reason the Bengal revolutionaries bled to free India from the roguish British Raj? Is this where the Bengal Renaissance has led Bengalis to where they play identity politics against the national mainstream? Is this what Swami Vivekananda espoused or expected Bengalis to do post-Independence, to commit harakiri in pursuit of cheap political gains? Did he not denounce such politics as damaging to the national cause? How much longer are we to endure rehearsed histrionics, calculated comedy, noxious name-calling and plain perfidy practised against our civilisational interests? Enough is enough.

But who do I address? A host of cowards who compromise with power, cower before ill-executed authority, malgovernance, and side with self-seeking politicians for petty personal gains, whose civilisational sense is a cipher and who switch allegiance whenever it suits them, citing bombastic terms such as secularism, democracy, synthetic culture and minority rights while Hindus in their own homeland are being molested left, right and centre? Sheer opportunism!

We need masses, literally masses of citizens of decency, intellect, the heart to feel and a profound civilisational sense to raise resistance to such perfidy that masquerades as politics, such brutal exploitation of the people's lifeblood that goes by way of development which enriches the rich more and more and dehumanises society by offering the blood-drained Daridranarayans doles by way of crafty recompense.

It is time for monks to stop singing and dancing in the name of Ramakrishna-Vivekānanda and to study deep their works and thereon exhibit manhood instead of offering red carpet welcome to the Prime Minister of India. Monks should give up spiritual pretensions and organisational advertisement about their annual charity work which, as Swamiji had said, ought to be done without any publicity whatsoever, prior to the work or posterior to it. Let spiritual people be the vanguard of our Sanātan civilisation instead of shying away from taking a pertinent strong stance citing Swamiji whose ideals and thoughts they have massively strayed away from at any rate.

As to the polity it must be said that a debilitated, degenerate, self-seeking polity is getting the government it deserves. So it behoves the people to change themselves. Let individuals stand on their Spirit and not on money or temporal position. Let them manifest character that will send shivers down the spines of the rogues who rule. Then and then alone will Bhāratvarsha rise to her pristine stature and go way beyond unto renascent sublime heights.

Himself a brilliant student, he inspired many after him to equip themselves academically and spiritually to rise and serve the motherland in the worst hour of her crisis when she lay prostrate, debilitated, defenseless, despoiled by a diabolical dispensation called the British Raj that was draining the very lifeblood of the nation, and this following centuries of European colonial exploitation of many a power after centuries of Islamic oppression that had reduced Sanātan civilisation to a low residuum from which it is slowly recovering despite the betrayals of roguish rulers of scant character, truthfulness, honesty and integrity.)
