P.S. The above post was inspired by a casual comment made by a friend of mine (Bhaskar Mukherjee) about the catastrophic consequence of the recent electoral debacle on the top leadership of the erstwhile ruling dispensation. The observation was evidently made in jest as becomes the political parlance in this highly politicised state.
