When you wrest control of your own destiny from the God you believed in to your own hands and turn either into an atheist or a misguided Vedantist, you fall into His control yet again, this time sliding into Avidya Maya (the delusion of lower bodily ignorance) from the Vidya Maya (the delusion of higher divine ignorance) where you were earlier located. So, beware how you alter spiritual stance in life and act accordingly.
