Whenever dictatorship raises its hood and the personality cult dominates the democratic discourse, the people raise their heads to defend their fundamental rights to freedom. And, so, the action-reaction syndrome obtaining in the polity today bears out the people's revulsion of such despicable dominance. The mandate they have given recently bears out their displeasure in consonance with this principle. It is high time to lower the personality profile and concentrate on principles. Else, unprincipled politics will spell the doom of these dastardly dictators who have evidently lost their moorings in the consciousness of the masses.
