Our army personnel keep laying down their lives in combating terrorism in Kashmir. How long must civilians watch such selfless sacrifice as mute spectators while these valorous army men keep dying to keep them safe? Must not the eternal song and dance sequence of life, its frivolity and the utterly irresponsible collective stance of giving in to pleasure stop for once and men maturely reflect on the higher imperatives of nation-building? Must these unfortunate men be regularly sacrificed thus to preserve our lives of perennial pandering to sense-pleasure? My views are well known on this and other like issues from my copious write-ups. What about yours?
