THE RICH AND THEIR RICHES
The rich take the services of the poor for every work of theirs. Yet, they have not the slightest pity nor the compunction of heart nor even a sense of sincere obligation for the upkeep of the poor. Such a remorseless attitude is hardly human and is mired in the grossest material culture whose symptoms are heartlessness and absolute apathy for the very ones that help maintain their palaces of pleasure, their dreamworld of desire.
It is inhuman to reduce vast masses of humanity to abject poverty by systematic exploitation. But such is capitalism and its ilk, and it needs a revolutionary overhauling to render the economic justice that had been denied the poor for ages. But such a revolution must have a human face and must itself not in turn become a more barbarous system of oppression and torment as has been its wont to be in the past.
