MARX IS NOT DEAD, NEITHER MARXISM ... 2

MARX IS NOT DEAD, NEITHER MARXISM ... 2

Where have the Marxists gone? Must they now not surface to lend sanity to the religious discourse centring politics by outright rejecting it? Or have they gone into hibernation for the while as they digest the proceedings of the day to reemerge with an altered ideological garb suited to the times?

Anyhow, the Communists, for sure, are not yet a spent-force and can contribute significantly to the polity by bringing in their socialist perspective to the national political drama unfolding before our eyes everyday. They claim to be the protagonists of the poor and the harbingers of the future socialist revolution that will end exploitation and bring in the millennium. Have they then forgotten their ideological roots and thrown in the towel consequent on successive electoral whitewashing? It will be most unfortunate if that is so. We need as many voices in the nation as their are groups to cater to and in the resolution of such forces will democracy thrive.

Inquilab zindabad ! Long live revolution !
