POLITICS AND PERFIDIOUS APPEASEMENT ... 1
How blatantly politicians are utilising religion to serve their electoral interests ! It is a shame that a free nation must sink to such levels of parochial party politics. Call we these leaders? Not I, not I, when such politics polarises the polity to the nation's detriment.
We must overcome appeasement politics not by counter-appeasement or retributive policy-making but by genuine development of the nation in line with the all-inclusive principle enjoined on governments by the Constitution of India. And the Constitution must be followed in every respect including the abolition of the temporary enforceable Articles 370 and 35 A. Let the Union Government of India exhibit true courage of conviction to bring about the integration of Jammu and Kashmir with the rest of India as it ought to be and as it ought to have been right from the time of its accession to India. Elsewhere as well, the Constitution must be strictly adhered to and the country advanced in every possible way to bring about its maximum progress and the greatest good of all.
