To how many politicians does the nation come first and self-interest last? Come on now, give up self-deception and public pretence, and live up to your Constitutional pledges, if you fail, at any rate, to love the land that has nourished you.
The motherland will as yet produce countless valorous children who will have soon put paid to your perfidious designs against her and it is time you take cognisance of it. Evil thrives under pertinent conditions and with the advent of better circumstances is checked in its growth. So is the scenario now. The new generation has arrived and is making its presence felt by rocking the government into impending submission.
Long ago, Swami Vivekananda had prophesied that five or six generations since then 'they' (the future humanity) would be 'coming --- coming from a distant place ... after five or six generations' who would 'work with' the 'treasures' he was leaving behind in Belur Math in the custody of the monks.
We are now witnessing the awakening of merely the fourth generation and the State of West Bengal is reeling under the self-suspension of work of the juniors in the medical fraternity. Imagine the plight of the politicians in future at the hands of the forthcoming and more forthright fifth and sixth generations who will be Swamiji's children born for the redemption of India. Theirs will be to redress the evils of the past and redeem the pledge of the revolutionaries to rebuild the motherland along lines of strength and enlightenment.
Till then, politicians, ruminate on your ill-begotten fortune and await your doomsday, for the power of the people, when it rises in righteous anger, is irresistible and will set the seal on your collective mischief, nay, the perfidy perpetrated by you against a billion Indians thus far. There is no reprieve for you, no escape route save submission to the judgement that will unfailingly befall you.
