Blood flows freely of the masses as capitalists amass their wealth. Greed fuels development as businessmen suck the life-blood of the people.
Civilisation sets up its citadels on the blood and toil of billions as their labour produces the wealth they never get a share of. Every monument that symbolises high culture has the blood and bones of its builders at its base. Monarchy, feudalism and now the tyranny of capital -- the masses suffer yet endlessly.
To vaunt of civilisation and sing the glories of culture is to bury the bones of the dead in callous oblivion. This must not be. We must as yet raise a monument to the memory of these countless martyrs to human civilisation and imprint in our minds their seminal role in the shaping of human history. This is his story. This is history.
