If rebirth is true, if the Law of Karma is true, how can you escape with acceptance of a particular religion that promises you heaven after a single birth and life? You will have to be reborn and repeat terrestrial experience till you are desireless and free. Right now your very desire for heaven and your very fear of hell will bind you and send you packing to earth to get rid of such childish fancies and to complete all earthly experience till you have seen through the vanity of it all and desire nothing. Then and then alone will you be free for eternity in your own Self. No God to reward, no God to punish, no Day of Judgment, just the Wheel of Karma rolling on and on till the Wheel itself breaks and the Chariot comes to a gradual halt releasing you from this never-ending journey. Then in solitary, unitary, transcendental self-splendour beyond word, beyond fragmented thought you will abide in Self-glory. This entire hallucination of earth, universe, life, death, birth, Karma, God, Satan, angel, scripture, dualistic experience et al will vanish into thin air and you will realise that you were never bound at all, that you were thus ever free.
