THE WORLD AS I SEE IT ... 1

THE WORLD AS I SEE IT ... 1

Just because commuism in practice is brutal and has failed, it does not give automatic legitimacy to capitalism which brutally exploits the masses to fill the coffers of a privileged few. The degrading environment, exploding population, demographic domination of toxic religious and political ideologies, all these will have to be tackled by the emerging generations as a civilising force that does not shirk from politics while maintaining humanity, nonetheless, must take charge of this volatile situation where extinction of the human species stares it in the face on the one hand and catastrophic collision of global forces on the other. Humanity, today, is at the crossroads of social evolution where it must come together to resolve issues so that global peace and the survival of the species may be ensured. But such are the deep divisions -- racial, cultural, ethnic and religious -- that such a coming together seems a far cry. The consequences could be catastrophic.
