ASK YOURSELF, SISTERS

ASK YOURSELF, SISTERS

When a Hindu king ever attacked a Muslim principality, the Muslim women were never touched, were given full protection and cover after conquest. But when a Muslim ruler invaded Hindu territory, the Hindu women en masse had to perform 'Jauhar', that is, commit self-immolation in fire. Why? What caused this fundamental difference? What prompted the brave Hindu women, royalty and commoner, to enter fire? Were they suddenly afraid of some impending fate? Were the Muslim women braver that they did not fear so? Where lay the motivational difference? What was the root cause of this divergent behaviour of the Hindu 🕉 women with respect to their Muslim ☪️ counterparts?
