The first thing we need to achieve is 100% quality literacy for our people. Education is the panacea for all of life's problems, Swamiji said. Hence, educating our people ought to be our prime national objective. This was what even Netaji had much stressed on in his observations on our emerging nation's need.

And we can all lend our hands to the realistic achievement of this target by exerting ourselves to better educating ourselves and offering our service then to educating our countrymen in any manner we can with our limited resources at the liberal disposal of the cause. It is not an impossible task by any stretch of imagination and we can with discipline, application and a spirit of service and sacrifice bring it to fruition for sure.

We have the inspirational figures of Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Sister Nivedita, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Sri Aurobindo, Sir Ashutosh Mookerjee, Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar, Dayananda Saraswati, Keshab Chandra Sen, Raja Rammohan Roy, Jawaharlal Nehru and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to power us into dedicated work for this grand project. So, if we are cognisant of our supreme national needs, we will make provisions for this programme of universal education and unfailingly see to its superb success. Jai Hind !
