THE SURFACE GARDENER
The intellect so often merely hovers on the surface, gathering pedestrian facts and figures, while the deeper insights remain well beyond its range unless, of course, the tools are refined enough to apprehend such semblance of reality as the mind at its best is privy to. The highest truths, though, are well beyond the reach of the mind and lie in wait for their discovery by the aspirant soul in its penultimate and ultimate acts of quasi and total dissolution in the transcendental Self.
