John Lennox makes a mockery of his status as a mathematician of international repute by giving in to the theory of the immaculate conception of the Virgin Mary that supposedly led to the birth of Christ, and to the even more fantastic narrative of the resurrection of Christ from the dead. If scientists become apologists for Christianity thus, we have had it as a species that has thus far progressed on the wings of science.
