Transformation of the human being at the organic level will need more than mere surface spiritual preaching. It will need, so to say, hypodermic injection of higher spiritual current or a quickening of the same from within the nervous system.
Mere words can achieve nothing. The power needs to make its way from within to fertilise the entire human system. And this is 'chittashusddhi', the cleansing of the mind-stuff, the prerequisite on a mass scale, tipping past the critical value, that is fundamental to the attainment of global peace and harmony.
But the dynamics of human society, the differential levels of cultural development across varied geographical terrain and the current status of human organic evolution are such that this purification of the human mind on such a mammoth scale will scarce be possible. Hence, the cherished dreams of peace, love and wholesome wise living will remain fantasies for the while and lectures galore will merely fill up the idle hours with idler hopes of a never-attained spiritual objective en masse for humanity as of now.
How long the wait shall be to arrive at this evolutionary critical mass when transformation for the better will be possible is uncertain, for terrestrial workings in the realm of the human mind are highly probabilistic owing to the tussle between deterministic Nature at the surface and probabilistic occurrence at the deepest levels of human consciousness.
We can only struggle on with bitter failures to encounter at every bend and turn till Nature eventually yields and bows down before the might of the collective will. But, as of now, it will take millenia to arrive at that horizon of collective greater spiritual freedom than is afforded now by constricting physical nature binding the soul of man.
