The absolute reference frame is there against which one's relative position in the evolutionary ladder is to be judged - Brahman and one's awareness of it. Consciousness of the Self in the absolute sense is the yardstick by which the value of all earthly attainments is to be gauged.
Spirituality is the basis of life and spirituality is the measuring rod as well of all that go by the name of grand and great. For it is the Spirit alone that lives. All else are apparitions wearing the mask of life.
Art, science, music - the trinity of human creative excellence must all be eventually judged against the backdrop of absolute consciousness towards which they are wittingly or unwittingly tending. Truth, Goodness and Beauty in all their highest sublimity remain the absolute reference frame for human attributes and attainments.
