MAN AND HIS MISSION ... 19
Inspiration may be the seed of civilisation but incessant action is the means to achieving it. The message of the Master translated into minuscule deeds transforms the human condition unto a higher order. Such then is the holy wedlock in successive links between consciousness and thought, and between thought and deed that provides for the gamut of human experience we call life, that is the resolution of the forces that evolves man from savage primal conditions unto the sublimity of the high heavens of absolute freedom.
Such a career of the soul from the gross to the refined is the mainspring of civilisation that, even if thwarted for the while, must spread its wings of flight unto the destination divine. Civilisation then is not merely a collective collaboration for organic survival but an onward movement of the captive mind seeking to fly beyond the limiting conditions that hold unto the limpid spaces of absolute freedom. And herein lies the spiritual essence of civilisation.
