THE LITTLE BUDDHA TRAVELS

THE LITTLE BUDDHA TRAVELS
Hark ! Behold the yonder worm, the first of the last of the middle series of explorers. So long there is life on earth, there is hope of a surviving civilisation. Through the trackless paths of Maya the little Buddha travels. What impels it? What powers its mighty way? Whither is it headed, this savage worm of primeval times? Unto unfolding consciousness is its movement, unto vistas opening in little gleaming light, horizons beckoning with the nightly call, its trudge through the forest path leads as the rolling wheel of endless births and deaths passes the baton of evolving life from link to link in flowing gene till some distant day it will stand up to see the glorious sun, the high heavens. Then shall begin the new wave on earth, a new life on a new planet on a new sunlit dawn. Till then my friend, farewell, as we of a former tribe move on as well to see if we can surge further and pass through this forest we have ourselves lit up with our own matchless stick of civilisation. Godspeed ! Adieu !
