WAHEGURUJI KI FATEH

WAHEGURUJI KI FATEH
Guru Gobind Singhji saved Hinduism from Islamic persecution conducted by the Mughals. Our debt to the divine Guru knows no bounds. Prior to his own resistance of the Mughals and his subsequent martyrdom at the hands of Mughal assassins, the Sikhs had lost to Mughal persecution their fifth and ninth Gurus in Guru Arjan Devji and Guru Tegh Bahadurji. Jahangir had killed Arjan Devji and Aurangzeb killed Tegh Bahadurji. Guru Gobind Singhji was the ninth Sikh Guru's son and reacted to this ongoing Islamic persecution in a spirited martial way, founding the famous Khalsa that set up the Sikh martial tradition continuing to this day. He and his Sikh army fought a series of battles to greatly weaken Mughal imperial stronghold in the North that significantly contributed to the eventual downfall of the Mughal dynasty.
