A MUCH-NEEDED REMINDER

Devotees must stop practising passive piety. It is active participation in the fostering of national welfare that must be their foremost duty in these calamitous times and even in general terms, for our motherland is as yet in the phase of her re-making and can ill afford aloof self-seeking passive piety that conduces neither to robust living nor to the manifestation of sufficient character that will generate public good.
