MISSION INDIA ... 1

MISSION INDIA ... 1
A robust national policy of development of our indigenous arms industry to make our military technologically ahead of China is the only way to deal with this rogue neighbour. For this the nation must focus on science and not religious revivalism with a of an ulterior kind.
Real religion calls for strength spiritual, strength scientific and strength economical. Above all it calls for the manifestation of greater national character which alone ought to be the yardstick by which patriotism and nationalism must be measured.
Our great heroes Rama and Krishna were warrior sages and that ought to the model for each one of us. The legacy of Guru Gobind Singh, Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji must be our strength and inspiration in our bid towards nation-building. But this is not to be misconstrued as pursuit of exclusive religious policy. No, it is not. It is the linking to our national heritage where we build on our past resources of inspiration and light with no parochialism sullying our efforts.
Above all we must tread the line charted out by our great patriot, our foremost nation-builder, Subhas Chandra Bose, whose legacy is strongest and nearest to us as we seek anchor in our glorious past to reshape an even more glorious future.
