On this momentous day when the nation enters the sesquicentennial (150th) year of Mahatma Gandhi's birth let us meditate on his life and legacy, his contributions and failings, his message and his motivations, and as to how far we agree on receiving him in our lives as the Father of the Nation. I sincerely exhort all to a healthy discussion on the subject by way of paying tribute to one of the seminal leaders of our freedom struggle who the whole world is enamoured of and who Indians across the spectrum also hold in veneration.
