WHERE GOD HAS BECOME MAN ... 2

WHERE GOD HAS BECOME MAN ... 2

You do not feel others' pain till you experience a bit of it yourself. Then philosophy takes to the wings and the heart opens up in sympathy for all. It is only then that action flows out in a loving stream of service to the dispossessed, to the hapless and the destitute, those living gods and goddesses that eke out their earthly existence and remain mired in material misery with none to rely on for care or comfort, for whom life has become a painful endurance so intense that the very memory of health and happiness and the sunshine of freedom is now a distant and a fading dream.

Then feel, brother, feel for your suffering brethren and quicken to the cause of alleviating human misery instead of remaining glued to books that merely formulate principles of life and no more. If principles were practised, this earth would have been a heaven and the desire to go there post dated would not have arisen. For we ever run after that which we have not yet achieved and in futility live our lives thinking of the hereafter. Instead let us work out practical solutions for humanity at large and start activating programmes at the local level.

Life is short and will pass without as much as a whimper. But let our days here be made worthwhile in dedication to the cause of the removal of human misery to the extent we can and then we may rest in peace in the silence of the Self. Right now there is much to do for the task is difficult and the problem complex.
