WHERE GOD HAS BECOME MAN ... 1

WHERE GOD HAS BECOME MAN ... 1

To love the nation is good and is in no way antithetical to loving the wider world of humanity. Patriotism pure is the anchoring in one's distinctive domain before enlarging one's sphere of action and sympathies to the whole of humankind. And even there some rare souls do not set their limits of love. They embrace the whole of sentience and insentience, too, till they become one with the universe and beyond. Oneness is the essence of existence and the perception of this oneness impels them onward till they reach unitary consciousness and, thence, behold themselves manifest as the whole of phenomena. But it has to begin with man and must end in man, too, for we are caught up in the world of man-vibration where all our conceptions are coloured by anthropomorphism. Hail humanity, thou art the living God!
