COMMENTS GALORE ... 3

Sugata Bose If you truly love Netaji, read thoroughly the books written by him and about him, one and all. Then demand justice in full swing.Shaswati Ganguly If you love netaji follow his principles...i think that is more sensible.Sugata Bose To follow them, you need to know them, and to know them, you need at least to read up on him.Shaswati Ganguly I think i know him better than many so called netaji lovers who claims to have read all his books.Sugata Bose Shaswati, that is entirely a personal take on the matter and hardly serves the purpose in the general setting. No doubt I corroborate your stance in the matter but only wish to enlarge the horizons thereof. The common man needs to be more aware of the life-details of the hero to be able to appreciate him and his following better before they are able to fully give in to the cause of service to the motherland in line with the leader's principles.Shaswati Ganguly He brought us independence and then when it was time to enjoy power he was gone...is that not enough...what else do you want to know.Sugata Bose Shaswati, we need to know everything about him. How can we be satisfied otherwise?Shaswati Ganguly Well ....i am what i am and its my personal view...Sugata Bose And I have in a previous comment already corroborated this view of yours as a personal take, have I not? And you are welcome to it absolutely as a free human being with an independent mind and a way of thinking that is quite in keeping with the pulsations of your heart which throbs to the well-being of the nation.Shaswati Ganguly Netaji has to prove himself to you not to me any more Sugatada.Sugata Bose Shaswati, you are entirely mistaken about my intent, I must say. My words are not to be interpreted thus.Shaswati Ganguly Great soul loved his mother land selflessly i too have to love my country selflessly.. and thats the end.Sugata Bose You surely will. And you can also awaken consciousness in others by passing on the germ of your enthusiasm to them in any manner you deem it best.Sugata Bose Beautiful! This artistic genius scarce takes pride in his attainments on the canvas and instead wastes precious moments of his creative life chasing the wild geese of linguistic and literary dreams. I request all sincere friends to encourage Avisek in his creative endeavour and to even purchase his canvases to help maintain his artistic output. We owe it to our motherland that such talent does not go waste in the bustle of daily living and we must spare no means to support him in every possible way. An artist requires buyers of his canvases and I fervently appeal to connoisseurs to come forward and purchase these priceless pieces of artistic endeavour of a young but precociously talented creative personality.Sugata Bose Brilliant piece, Abhijit Babu! Proud of you that you have hammered home the point after effectively delineating the real events that led to freedom. You have, thus, done a duty that the country expects of you to rightfully perform. We are all with you and shall proffer help as and when and however you wish it to be so that the movement may gain momentum and be guided to its rightful destiny, that of national awakening to the true history of our freedom struggle, as you so aptly ever put it.Sugata Bose Did Nehru actually write a letter to Attlee calling Netaji 'Your war criminal', or, is it a fake letter? Respond please.Shaswati Ganguly It was outrageous...Vinod Chandappagol Its trueAbhijit Chatterjee TrueSanjib Das it is historically trueAbhirup Sarkar Can be true. If Shyamal Jain typist of Nehru is not a liar, he told under oath what was written to Attlee to Khosla Commission. That is what we consider as the letter. But the actual letter was not found in Indian files as it must have been destroyed. If the actual letter is at all to be found it will be found in the British secret archive, which India will never have access to.Sourav Saumya Das Respected Sir, I think instead of asking this question, it will be best if you kindly put your doubts to rest by paying a visit to the National Archives of India (NIA). Also, it has already been de-classified by the Government of India and is very easily available.Sugata Bose I hear from reliable sources that it is not so. The National Archives do not have any such letter on display and one may only trace it in the British Archives provided the British Government allows one access to it for they are as yet classified files and will continue to be so till 2047.Sourav Saumya Das I am not sure if your source is correct because this is easily available and may be you should try to check it out yourself at least once.Sugata Bose The original letter is what I am referring to and not the doctored one as you can understand. This latter one is a bad attempt to copy the content of the original one with plenty of grammatical and spelling errors. However, that should be a pointer to the fact that somewhere the original one may still be possible to find. The one in New Delhi is either under wraps or has been destroyed and the one in London is guarded by the authorities there.Deepak Banke Somewhere I learnt that there was not Nehru's signature on the letter.Sugata Bose Gandhi's treachery at Tripuri sidelined Bose n sealed the fate of our country for good.Betrayal of our motherland began that day.Bhaskar Sen Sharma And that was day one when Gandhi openly claimed that his candidate, sitaramaiah 's defeat was his defeat... What a perfidious way he expressed his open aggression against the Great Netaji the Architect of India 's Freedom... After this incident Netaji realized that staying in Congress would be futile. Instead of outmatching his sophisticated adversaries, Netaji felt the best way to win our freedom is to seek help from alien power. He knew staying in India he stands no chance to combat these enemies who languish inside... In fact this gave Netaji the spirit to act as " a springing tiger ". Providence charted this so for him, Nay India. Netaji Zindabad Azad Hind Zindabad. And then started the long epic journey from India braving all dangers on the way... And rest was history... All he did and conceived of in fact was historySugata Bose Brilliant as always, Bhaskar, you are in hammering home the point in your own inimitable way.Bhaskar Sen Sharma Sugata Bose thank you my great friend Sugata.. We tread the path you illumined sir.Sugata Bose Bhaskar, post this comment on the NETAJI group as an independent post. It will enthuse and illumine readers. https://www.facebook.com/groups/netaji.bose/?multi_permalinks=1018042221698358&notif_id=1523754980258848&notif_t=feedback_reaction_generic&ref=notifBhaskar Sen Sharma In the book " Netaji The Man: Reminiscences... " his great friend DK ROY delineated the inner being of Netaji.. He also alluded to the Red Fort trial which was a distorted one. The betrayal of Shah Nawaz Khan on the promptings of Nehru the Diabolical Agent of the British.. The reference to the spontaneous eloquent and brilliant arguments of Bullab bhai Desai was highlighted in the book. Mr Desai the great counsel said that all was so incredible in Netaji.. " all originated in a single brain. The epic escapade setting of the INA and the onslaught.. All sound so high pitched.. That none could ever emulate.. "He said that it was Netaji who shook the British Empire.

Sugata Bose Again I say, Bhaskar, post these comments of yours on NETAJI group. The link to it I have given above. It will shake up the nation.

Amal Sengupta After viewing the such old facts I really feet very bad about Indian so called selfish freedom fighters but nothing is happening till now.

Sugata Bose Amal Babu, utthun, jagun, ashun mrtyunjayee beerder jeebon alochona kori sokoler shathey. Eytei mahamangal nihito.

Jnanojjwal Saha Before asking anyone I request your good conscience to ask those questions. And meanwhile if you have read his life and works you need not to ask anyone for the reply. Please don't mind for this intervention.

Sugata Bose It is necessary to ask questions irrespective of how they may be received by individuals having different stances in life, for they keep the public discourse alive and prevent lethargy and indolence about thinking on these pertinent issues from creeping in and reducing the vibrancy of a democratic polity to a sham.

Sugata Bose Idle people like me have time to write on timeline, not busy men who must be catered to but will never respond in turn. Jai Hind!

Abhishikta Anuska Mukherjee Sir, pointing out the flaws inherent in our attitude without biasness is not so easy...the person who can do it has to be well versed in different subjects (points of interest)...its not everyone's cup of tea and can't be considered 'idle man's activity'... regards

Sugata Bose Thank you, Abhishikta for your support. You are also doing your job quite well, of that I am well aware.

Abhishikta Anuska Mukherjee Thank You Sir...

Satyendra Singh I admire your spirit..... Very few can match your undeterred focus on your subject and continuous effort to communicate.

Sugata Bose Thank you, Satyendra Singhji. It is friends like you who have genuine sympathy for the broader cause, so many of us represent, that keep me going. Their continued appreciation enhances the quality of the work done through laborious sustenance of its spirit. Your words are my encouragement, your guidance in liberalism, however little, through character shortcoming, I may be able to absorb, is, nonetheless, the rudder that keeps the movement on track and does not let negative emotion play the horrible truant to steal the aims and aspirations of my effort.

Sugata Bose The way to overcome this servile state is to be grounded in the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and build one's life accordingly. Subhas Chandra Bose had done just that to emerge as Netaji and shake up the world to its foundations.

Sugata Bose Is this an 'Art of Living' class going on because Ravi Shankar's photograph is on display?

Bruce Ananta Hilliger I was not thereto not sure,, they allowed this guy to dim in and teach, liberal of RK peeps I guess or needing the money in any empty place now usually.. sad story but great place ..RK politics...

Sugata Bose Oh, so this place is still under the charge of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission?

Bruce Ananta Hilliger Sugata Bose Yes, under Chicago Center, now in Lemont , Illinois.. When Bhashtyananda died in '95 his successor was clearly told to take apart all of Bhashyananda had done by Prez MJ, Atmasthananada, I know people who were in the room when this was said. So his successor Chidananda basically did nothing but destroy the place thru lassitude... sang bhajans and was rude!!!! After being thrown out of Bangalore I heard for the same !!!The present head of Chicago is wise enough to see the beauty and value of the place and is apparently doing his best to support it somehow after 30 years of neglect. We used to have 25 people living there running, it. During Chidanandas years it went down to 1 or 2 peeps, as it is now, with the monks and nuns literally moving across the street to start a new place.. WOW!!! The Bengali Prez hated my Marathis teacher and I hate to say.. etc. etc. I am glad I left in '88 or I would have done damage to Chidananda, monk or not that I am !!! lol

Sugata Bose Swami Bhasyananda, your Guru was an illumined soul.

Bruce Ananta Hilliger We all felt so, his Guru was Virajananda.

Abhishek Sanyal · Friends with Rama Ghosh and 3 othersPlease check out proper verified documents before making any sort of distorted comments. This is my humble request. One may want live in a live of fiction but in the end it is the fact which triumphs and not fiction.

Sugata Bose Could you please help me secure the 'proper verified documents' before I make future posts? It is my humble request to you so that I may live in the world of 'reality' and not in that of 'fiction'. After all, 'Satyameva jayatey nanritaam / Satyena panthaa vitatoh deva yaanah', is it not? And mind your language please. It is unwarranted of you to label me as making distorted comments. With regards, Sugata Bose.

Prithwindra Mukherjee Sincere thanks, Sugata Babu, for the link and for your deep interest in a would-be India!

Sugata Bose Netaji's guiding light and patriotic inspiration, over and above his innate love for the motherland, was this, the Swadesh Mantra composed by Swami Vivekananda. Your grandfather, Prithwindra Babu, our heroic Bagha Jatin, was similarly inspired by Swamiji --- you know very much better than me --- who he had personally met, I gather at Balaram Mandir (correct me if am wrong) in Kolkata upon the Swami's triumphal return to India from the West. Swamiji, apparently, had given him specific directions to prepare him for the ensuing revolutionary activity that was to dawn on his life soon. Do write something on your illustrious grandsire for all to profit by.

Amit Sen Come out of the shackles. And look ahead.

Sugata Bose Address thyself, son! The shackles seem to be in thy own mind for they plague thee so to repeatedly proselytise it to others. This is serious and virile business and not quite thy aforementioned 'Ladies' Kitty Party' after all. So, free thyself of thy own fetters and extend, instead, thy own mental horizons unto the vast vistas that lie ahead. May the Master grace thee in thy endeavour to do so shouldst thou so aspire for it, which, on the face of things, seems to be thy preferred lot and thy destiny as well! Godspeed unto glory! Attached is a small gift for thee in thy newfound vocation or austerity whichever way shouldst thou view it.

Sugata Bose Nehru and patriotism? Oxymoron!

Sugata Bose So, let us expose them by working in conjunction and not as isolated units seeking self-glory as is so often the bane of these individual efforts.

Sugata Bose We seek Thy blessings, O Lord! Grant us victory in this unequal battle for the establishment of truth. Our prostrations at Thy holy feet.

Shaswati Ganguly Yes he is an asset...abhishek sanyal ...hope he sees things through new findings.

Sugata Bose Asset, indeed, is every citizen of India who chooses not to be blind with a vehemence.

Avisek Banerjee I am not at all agree with your analysis. This is the cheap analysis of your done ever.

Sugata Bose Thank you, Avisek Banerjee, for your superb compliment to me. Nothing better can be expected from a so-called 'Gandhian'. One must have the capacity to refute on points instead of giving vent to such baby-like protestations. Mine is a factual account. So, counter me factually and not with emotional outbursts of misguided 'devotion'.

Avisek Banerjee Thank you.

Sugata Bose It is simply unthinkable that so many have accepted Partition as a settled fact of history. I have not. India will reunite.

Swapan Kumar Ghosh With islamisation of India or revival of Santan Dharma?

Sugata Bose Swapan Babu, this is possible only with the essentials of the Sanatan Dharma being embraced by an overwhelming majority of Indians (Akhanda Bharatvarsha) and it will take place only when there is a great political ferment in the world that will allow the realignment of territorial boundaries as per cultural affinities dating through several millenia and the imperatives of original boundary lines thereof proving absolutely potent.

Abhijit Chakraborty Possible?

Sugata Bose Yes, of course. And it will happen in the fullness of time.
