Princely states like Hyderabad which wanted to goto Pakistan but it was with the great and strict administrator Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel who ordered the Indian Army to surround Hyderabad. If you see this for yourself you will more happy than sad to know that yeas we had lost a lot in India's unfortunate partition but in 1948 , 1949 and 1950 we could salvage a lot more back to India. If these places had gone to Pakistan it would have been a disaster. We have to take the positives with us. Jinnah's two nation theory has not succeeded. See for yourself that within 24 years of creation of Pakistan, "East Pakistan" wanted independence from Pakistan. It was with the help of India that Bangladesh was liberated in 1971. During the Quit India Movement Gandhiji himself had advised all Indian women to carry either a knife or any other weapon of choice for their self defence. This did not clash with his belief of Ahimsa. The true meaning of Ahimsa is not weakness. It is acting more responsibly. The Indian Legal System or the Indian Defence or the Indian Democracy all have been known to act responsibly all these years. That has been the true genius of both Gandhi and Bose as they both have been the major architects of a new, modern, logical, rational and progressive viewpoints. Gandhian way has shown how to do good human relations with other countries and Bose has been the architect of a modern and responsible defence force. Both these leaders thought much ahead of their times and much beyond the capacity and comprehension of any medium thinking person. Because now in India we do not have reserved parliamentary seats based on religion. In British India the various provinces used to have elections where the seats used to be reserved based on religion. That was before Netaji had left The Indian National Congress . It was vote of all those Constituent Assembly Members which decided the fate that which province moved to which country in 1947. A separate vote was conducted to see which Princely State moved where. Some had chosen to remain with India. Some chose to move to Pakistan and some remained undecided even on 15th August, 1947. The map of India which you see today was a creation much after 15th August,1947. Princely states like Hyderabad which wanted to goto Pakistan but it was with the great and strict administrator Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel who ordered the Indian Army to surround Hyderabad. It was in 1948 that Hyderabad became a part of India. Many such places were integrated to India like this. If you see this for yourself you will more happy than sad to know that yeas we had lost a lot in India's unfortunate partition but in 1948 , 1949 and 1950 we could salvage a lot more back to India. If these places had gone to Pakistan it would have been a disaster. We have to take the positives with us. Jinnah's two nation theory has not succeeded. See for yourself that within 24 years of creation of Pakistan, "East Pakistan" wanted independence from Pakistan. It was with the help of India that Bangladesh was liberated in 1971. Now in North Pakistan, Baluchistan and other places are crying for liberation.
