Why do we accept Partition as a settled fact of history? It is not, and a day will come when the severed limbs of India will be absorbed and the motherland will be whole again. Till then it is merely a strengthening of our national resolve to undo this perfidy of the past and progress towards a higher evolution whereby the whole of humanity will be blessed by India's wholeness. So long as India remains truncated, Britain shall not sleep in peace nor will America have repose for the severed limb in the form of the world's first Islamic State of Pakistan, the hub of global terrorism, will continue to drive their peacefulness away. Their treacherous act on the most peaceful people of the world is in the fullness of time boomeranging on them and they have no clue as to how they may survive its noxious thrusts. The eternal law holds --- 'what you sow, you reap'. So must the western world suffer in precipitating this perfidious partition of our motherland.
But what about us? Are we to accept this diabolic design of the British in alliance with our deceitful Congress and Muslim League leaders of the day as divine dispensation or the inevitable consequence of historical resolution of forces that have been in operation in our country for long? Are we not even going to challenge existing doctrines masquerading as historical truths and find for ourselves what the true causes of this cataclysmic corruption of our polity may have been that precipitated this territorial segmentation?
