How far does propaganda over the ages raise a person's status from that of a human being to that of God? Great art, great sculpture, great architecture, great music and great literature act as reinforcements to this status-raiser over centuries and the meek submit to its force unquestioningly, or if they dare question, they are silenced into submission. Is not faith-based religion then largely a regressive force founded in untruth, ignorance and superstitious impositions, often of a politically motivated kind to ensure organisational sustenance?
