The conquest of life is only possible by the conquest of death and that is such an impossible task for ordinary souls. Hence, resignation unto Ramakrishna, Rama, Krishna,, Chaitanya, Nanak, Buddha, Mahavira, Jesus or plain unto Mother Herself is the way out. Who else can deliver from this dark dream we call life and then we call death? So, we must resign in the positive spiritual sense before we are checkmated in this chess-game of life. Even Sri Ramakrishna had surrendered his all before his holy consort in whom he invoked and beheld the Universal Mother, the primal and final force of life and death.
