RAMAKRISHNA MISSION, JALPAIGURI, VANDALISED BY GOONS WITH MONKS HELD AT GUNPOINT 

The law and order situation has totally broken down in West Bengal with the Chief Minister adding fuel to fire through her unduly aggressive remarks against our esteemed spiritual organsations, namely, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Ramakrishna Mission and ISKCON, which is emboldening goons to perpetrate mayhem in the state as was in evidence yesterday when Ramakrishna Mission, Jalpaiguri, was vandalised with Ashram officials and monks held at gunpoint while the destruction of property went on. This is what happens when the highest leadership of a state, instead of protecting the interests of esteemed institutions, is more interested in self-serving in a petty political way. If we do not raise our voice loud enough now, the situation will worsen and will increasingly resemble Bangladesh where Hindus are not safe.
