In other words, the Vedanta in theory and practice is the panacea for ills that are the legitimate and illegitimate offspring of all forms of exclusive religion, political ideology, language and culture. 

Divergence at the surface is in the structural course of things, in the very geometry of space-time, but integration is its central theme, its core content. This, the discovery of the Vedanta, must be comprehended and collectively activated to end all surface strife that are needless and even naive for an evolved, mature polity. Question is, how far has evolution been? All sections of society, all strands of humanity, the world, fractured by interest and self-seeking at the gross gluttonous level, have not yet matured to that fullness of being and understanding thereof to implement en masse these higher principles. Hindus consider Muslims as brothers following the principle of 'vasudhaiva kutumbakam' but Muslims are commanded by Allah to consider Hindus as filthy kaffirs fit for conversion or death. So, you see, it is a one-way traffic which makes fraternity impossible so long as Muslims remain Muslims which they are scripturally obligated to remain and which historically they have always been. There the matter ends except for people who wish to daydream fanciful ideas that have no base in ground reality. If 1400 years of history have not succeeded in teaching these superficial souls a semblance of objective truth, nothing will till they are rudely awakened by the sword of Islam reducing them to subjugation as in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan where they should spend a few years to taste the elixir of inter-faith fraternity before they pompously preach utopian idealism. 🕉

Why is it that Islam is considered the most perfect and the latest religion on earth and its founder the last and greatest prophet? What about Sikhism then as a later religion and Guru Nanak Dev, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda and a host of other seminal spiritual giants as later prophetic souls? Why is the Hindu converted to Islam in marriage to a Muslim but a Muslim mandated never to convert to what is erroneously deemed as error-prone inferior religion relative to Islam? Why the call to the kaffir to convert or die? Why is the kaffir considered filthy in Islam? Answer these few questions first before preaching spirituality to me. There are many more which I did not posit as they have sociological connotations and I do not want to extend the boundaries of my queries indefinitely. 🕉

So, with diminishing numbers and pronounced disunity in our ranks, will that be possible or are we witnessing instead the gradual slide of our motherland into one or more Islamic states? Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, West Bengal and Assam for instance are already Islamised or Islamising fast. Besides there are the North-eastern states of Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh where Hindus are a minority and where gradually secessionist forces may gain ground. Punjab, a Sikh majority province, will have to be wooed to identifying with the Hindu Rashtra concept before we may even contemplate taking any step in that direction, the Sikhs being such an integral part of our national defence. Moreover, with the RSS going into an ever-softening gear and the BJP following suit, where do we see much of a chance of pursuing a hardline course that will enable such a radical Constitutional amendment as the declaration of India as a Hindu Rashtra? There are too many obstacles along the way which a soft-willed government can scarce overcome. 🕉
