LIBERALISM DIGS ITS OWN GRAVE

Liberalism invariably loses to fanaticism as the lower instincts stoop lower than their sublimer attitudinal siblings to destroy the citadels of civilisation. Hence, a more vigorous thrust in liberal principles is necessary than the impotent acceptance of all that is fanatically wrong in exclusive ideology just because liberalism can neither strike in self-defence beyond meek verbal assertions and condemnations where need be nor has any agenda in proselytising among the people to good effect. This absence of organisational effort among liberals to bring the masses to light loses out to the fanatical programme of organised exclusive religions whose agenda is preset as per scriptural prescriptions and is followed dogmatically with large doses of superstitious ignorance to spice it up by well over a billion unthinking irrational fools submitting to archaic divine dictates. Hatred of the infidel is their staple diet by daily scriptural recitation which fuels their baser instincts, making them personalities pernicious with fraternal feelings limited to their faith-fellows and a pretentious tolerance of the rest. Liberalism has no clue how to address such mental and physical violence and seeks solace in delusive self-belief that after all these are fringe elements that are not representative of any wider world agenda of the movement and so dupes itself into defeat at the hands of fanaticism. Liberalism, thus, does a great disservice to itself and to the world in not striving to effectively combat the extremist elements and in the process exposes humanity to the predatory prowls of dastardly religions.
