A STRANGE COINCIDENCE
It is so strange that both Sri Chaitanya and Sri Ramakrishna were born on 18 February, although separated by 350 years from each other. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was born on 18 Feb, 1486 and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born on 18 Feb, 1836. Their dates of birth by the Gregorian calendar are the same but the same by the Indian lunar calendar significantly differ. Still, it is a remarkable coincidence that these two luminous beings who have been almost universally accepted as the last two incarnations of God by the Hindus both share the same birthday. Strange, indeed, are the ways of the Lord !
