We have to be smarter as a nation in thinking and must desist from the crowd-culture we so often subscribe to in our deliberations, full of frothy emotional display. This is patriotism alright but a weak demonstrative one at that. What is needed is smart culture that is capable of deep thinking, that can discover the way out of intractable situations, and of delivering the decisive blow in a war of attrition. Hence, fitness physical, vital, mental and intellectual must be attained by the entire nation and tens of millions must be ready at a moment's notice to sacrifice their lives for the preservation of the sovereignty of the motherland before we may in truth claim ourselves to be a world force to reckon with. Till then we must constantly prepare even as we pass on the baton to succeeding generations like the global community of Muslims do in their bid to establish Islamic hegemony in the world. Let us do better than that narrow cause full of cultural perversions and along holier, healthier lines rebuild our wounded civilisation.
