It is better to die than to live a life of slavery. But before death comes, let us breathe every moment for the resurrection of the motherland whose shackles we must remove and set her free forever.
Life will end at any rate but let it be spent, while it yet persists, in the service of the mother who nourishes us with her air in the hope that her children will yet arise to break her bonds and release her in the sunshine of freedom and glory.
