IN A BELATED RESPONSE TO SHASHI THAROOR'S STATEMENT IN JNU THAT BHAGAT SINGH WAS THE KANHAIYA KUMAR OF HIS TIMES

IN A BELATED RESPONSE TO SHASHI THAROOR'S STATEMENT IN JNU THAT BHAGAT SINGH WAS THE KANHAIYA KUMAR OF HIS TIMES

A total lack of concern, care and reverence for the revolutionaries, symptomatic of these alien cultural associates of India with not even a bare minimum of patriotism in their blood that will distinguish them as worthy sons of India.

Academic distinctions notwithstanding, international positions adorning their bio-profiles notwithstanding, these culturally colonised by-products of the British, these Macaulay's children are no better than their statements that reek of a betrayal of the best interests of India.

And remember, Shashi Tharoor was even born in England and seems not to have got over his early impressions of his birthplace to be able to fully absorb the fire of love for the motherland that was an-built feature of the one he mischievously alluded to, the redoubtable revolutionary, Bhagat Singh, the sublime soul who gave his all for the motherland unlike these modern counterfeit copies of the erstwhile heroes.
