SPREADING CIVILISATION OR CONDUCTING ROBBERY?

SPREADING CIVILISATION OR CONDUCTING ROBBERY?

The colonists were fundamentally thieves in the name of being the propagators of high-sounding civilisation. And their updated editions are today's neo-colonists, looting the left-overs of yesterday's plunder and innovating novel methods of modern depredation for fresher forays into others' wealth.

The British stole the most, to the tune of an estimated 45 trillion dollars from India in today's valuation, and they are unashamed about it, for they are up to their traditional job of robbing others even now through their more sophisticated modern methods of neo-colonialism.

It is time to resist such violation of the noble spirit of global cooperation in the name of narrow nationalism instead. If human society has to rapidly advance unto a higher plane of terrestrial evolution, it will have to strengthen its weaker peoples against depredation by its mighty monarchs of modern times, the erstwhile colonists who are now functional in an efficiently veiled manner but with the same sinister designs of stealing, this time in the name of global trade and commerce.

Classical colonialism has been done away with. Now let us not fail to do away with the seeds of neo-colonialism as it spreads its wings through the free space of global trade. Let us resist this modern malady with all our might.
