AWAKE TO A SENSE OF SANITY BY STUDYING HISTORY IN THE COMPREHENSIVE LIGHT
History should be dispassionately studied to arrive at an objective understanding of its workings. This is the scientific method. Personal associations, frustrated aspirations, ideological preferences and prejudices, illogical and incomplete thinking based on fractional references -- all these must go before a correct appraisal and appreciation of historical events is possible. For this, proper training is necessary. Otherwise, what will result is a biased misapprehension of history with its concomitant evils.
