REFLECTIONS ... 1
Devotion to one's Guru is not easy. It calls for absolute surrender to his will and doing his bidding for self-evolution and collective welfare.
There is no room for showing impatience or exhibiting impertinence in his presence or in his relation behind his back.
Discipleship is as difficult as being a preceptor.
Sri Ramakrishna is our ideal and the centre of our lives. If our focus remains on his rumination, we shall be safe in this terrestrial sojourn of ours and our direction will be Godward. If we forget him and place our egotistic vain selves in his place, ruination shall be the result.
Let us then submit ourselves to the Master and conduct our lives as he wished that devotees ought to.
