Vivekananda must not be diluted. His message must not be watered down. It is a fiery philosophy that can as yet ignite the world and reduce its dross to ashes.
Our revolutionaries were inspired by his volcanic words. And, yet, we see today a terrible weakening of the manner in which Vivekananda is preached. There is neither force nor fire in the manner of delivery of his teachings by the speakers of the day. Well had Swamiji said, "Religions of the world have become lifeless mockeries. What the world wants is character."
Let the cyclonic monk's message be spread with cyclonic force. Let the trickle of words be replaced by a torrent of power that will penetrate the personality of the audience and bring about life-transforming change. Such a death-blow to worldly infatuation can only be hammered home if the speaker himself is not an apologist on account of a lack of conviction in what he speaks or is over-conscious of the fact that he himself does not practise what he preaches. All these must go and fiery speakers with oration forged in the furnace of their life's experience must deliver unto the world what the leonine Swami had once in thundering words done.
