Hindus must not be naive about their future security either way. Remember, ''Strength is the watchword of the Upanishads,'' Swamiji said. So, be strong and up and doing when it comes to the study of your scriptures, especially, that modern scripture, 'The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda'. In it is a mine of strength, enough to galvanise the whole of humanity, and in it lies the redemption of the future Hindu race.
Each and every Hindu must take it upon himself to contribute to this great cause of the dissemination of the message of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda across the wide world so that human civilisation may turn on a new leaf and humanity may be spared the spectre of annihilation from the savage interplay of its demonic forces.
But for this the work has to begin at home. Each one of you must yourself be an erudite in Vivekananda literature and thence alone may you take up the mantle of propagating the message of the messiah. Swamiji sounded the clarion call from Madras when he said, ''My India, arise!" and it remains for his children to adequately respond to it. In it lies the well-being of the Hindu race and in it lies the preservation and future flourishing of the whole of humanity.
