BANDH KARO 'BANDH' (STOP THIS STOPPAGE OF WORK)

BANDH KARO 'BANDH' (STOP THIS STOPPAGE OF WORK)

A 'bandh' is a test of strength for a political party. Politicians are not bothered about the welfare of the nation. All that they care for is to disrupt work in the name of an otherwise worthwhile cause. Well, one way of showing protest could be to put in an hour's extra work for the day instead of cutting off the work for the day clean. That would help lodge the protest by winning the genuine sympathy of the people, would increase output and set in a new work culture that is today sadly missing.

So far as 'bandhs' are concerned, I was under the impression that there is a Supreme Court ruling which makes it illegal. If so, then calling a 'bandh' is a flouting of national law and all political parties are culpable to it. So, can anyone in his sanity ever believe that political parties who disrupt work want the nation to progress? If some of you believe so, then I can only say that politics has won its dubious deal with you and we are fast going unto destruction.

So, better watch what you believe and guide your lives accordingly. Just work in any capacity you can for the welfare of the motherland even on a day of 'bandh'. You need not risk your health and life by going out to work but you may do worthwhile work from home for one day. What I mean is this : do not enjoy a day of leave from work by remaining lazy for the day. Engage in some fruitful work such as cleaning your house, reading good books, practising spiritual exercises a bit more for the day and the like. Above all, do not lose your focus of your life's work even on a day of 'bandh' which is to serve your nation to the best of your ability. Feel for the cause of the 'bandh' but do not subscribe to such negative tactics to bring about national redemption. They never work. Better work more productively at a higher intellectual and spiritual level for the day and foil the negatives accruing out of the 'bandh'. Also, fail not to see through the ploys of these political parties when they call for a 'bandh' and inwardly reject it. Thus shall the nation progress. Thus shall we win Olympic medals. Thus shall we win Nobel Prizes. Thus shall we emerge a superpower on earth which no nation will dare to browbeat. Jai Hind!

Motto : Defeat 'bandhs' in principle by becoming more active, more productive for the day.
