A LETTER TO MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS AND TO ALL MY READERS
Dear friends and readers,
Comments should be pertinent to the post. I have said this in the past and I reiterate it now. Stray comments do not serve the cause well for which people struggle and spend their midnight's oil to write copiously. Focus is necessary. Let not photographs attached to posts as accessory dictate terms. It is sad to see the plight of my countrymen thus when they merely give a 'like' to a post by 'liking' the photograph attached to it even before going through the content of the post written laboriously often for hours on end. I feel disappointed to see this shallowness in the vast majority of people who operate on facebook and urge all to seek a change in this superficial attitude to things intellectually challenging. Even if all the elements of a post may not be easy to comprehend, it will be worthwhile to advance one's intellectual build-up by attempting to go through it. The loss today is yours, my friend, and the gain tomorrow with a shift in stance may be yours as well.
