How can young people stay away from Swamiji? He ran through my nerves like a raging fire in my youth and set the forest of my being into a conflagration whose flames are still setting fresh fibres alight to burn to ashes the last vestiges of desire and despicable worldliness that haunt this old mansion, the storehouse of aeons of sense-impressions.
O youth of my motherland, will you not venture into this sacred terrain that can transform your very consciousness and make gods out of you? Are you not ambitious enough to attempt the scaling of spiritual heights where studying Vivekananda will be the setting up of base camp at inordinate altitude?
If you have the teeth to call yourself strong women and men, then step ahead and make the dash for the leonine monk who breathless awaits your arrival. Take up the study of the Swami and waste not your lives in fruitless practice of passive piety. Your devotion will show in your actions and your actions shall be raised unto service to the motherland. Arise India and take the lead!
