HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE RECEIVED HIS GRACE!
The inimitable sweetness of Gurudev's personality is my lasting impression of him. He never raised his voice or uttered a harsh word by way of reaction to any situation. And he had to wade through tempestuous times during his tenure as the administrative head of the Seva Pratishthan and later during the years of litigation when the Mission was virtually pitted in opposition to the State Government of the day. In both these crises Gurudev was immaculately serene and never lost his poise. His deftness in work was never accompanied by the display of undue emotional stress and it was not the lot of associates and subordinates to be exposed to frayed tempers from his end ever. Such affability of being came from a deep sense of surrender to Thakur in all his movements in life and in work and endeared him to all and sundry within the organisation and without it.
Gurudev remains a beacon of light for us all who were privileged to have received his grace and remains our perennial inspiration to live for Thakur-Ma-Swamiji and their beloved spiritual order in the form of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Jai Gurudev!
