Is piety a plaything that it can be purchased by premature initiation into the spiritual path? Rare is the soul ready for it. The rest merely trade in God. Devotion then degenerates into an assumption of faith and a superior posturing that pretends knowledge more than prefers learning. Is this the way of the spirit?
